Home Moving Dairy #1

“Home is where one starts from.” –T.S. Eliot

My husband, my daughter, and I are still living in my husband’s parents house along with his sister’s family. We already bought a house for us to live in one day, but we still feel really really comfortable staying together in my husband’s parents house. Well one of the big reason is because there are lots of people (family) who can look up for our daughter when we were working in the office (so she’s not growing only with her nanny).

However, just after this year Eid Al-Fitr celebration, we make a huge decision for our family. With lots of reasons, calculations, and considerations, we decided to plan for moving to our own home!

This post is actually kinda personal like a diary, but I share it with hope that those who are in the same condition (planning of moving somewhere, even planning of renovating their house or room) can get the benefit of the tips and tricks that I find working and learn from the mistake I made.

Review St. Ives Smooth & Glow Apricot Exfoliating Body Wash

Ever since becoming a mother, I find that my shower time becomes much much quicker than before. One day I kind of questioning myself if I had cleanse my body well, after my mother in law wondering why I showered so quickly.

I’m not the type of person who likes to use loofah or bath sponges or bath brush when showering. I dislike the idea of washing them and keeping them clean between usage. And I also hate when my in jar body scrub gets loosen after several time of usage because of the additional water that comes from my damp hands when I take out the scrub. So I opt for body scrub that comes in a bottle or tube.

Honestly, it’s kinda difficult to find the right product that match my specification in terms of packaging, pricing, and ingredients – yes I’m still avoiding anything with paraben in it.

Until my dear colleagues Nina recommend me to try St. Ives Exfoliating Body Wash.

Before that day, I never knew that removing unwanted hair has its own rules. It was not as easy as grab a shaver then directly shave the hair. We have to know at least the basic do’s & don’ts.

Book Review “Bringing Up Bébé : One American Mother Discovers the Wisdom of French Parenting”

How can French parents look stunning even when they are doing activity with their kids?
How can French parents be so relaxed while dining in a restaurant with their kids?
How can Franch kids be so tame? Don’t these kids ever have tantrum?

Those are some of the question that pops in most people’s head when they see French family. This time, I will talk about something French. It surely not about Croissant, but about French Parenting from the book “Bringing Up Bébé: One American Mother Discovers the Wisdom of French Parenting“.
